ANNOUNCING THE 2020 Survey: IV Preparation Practices and Related Technologyin US Hospital Pharmacies
Dear Pharmacy Colleague,

Will you help us gather some important information to improve IV accuracy? We are asking you for a short (10 minute or less) investment of your time to participate in a survey: IV Preparation Practices and Related Technology in US Hospital Pharmacies.

As USP has given much attention to promoting practices and technologies that ensure IV sterility,  the THRIV Coalition is drawing similar attention to practices and technologies proven to ensure IV accuracy.

To this end, THRIV has commissioned independent researcher, Armen Simonian, PharmD, to do this anonymous survey among directors of pharmacy. Dr. Simonian is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Informatics and Health Information Technology at the Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, a member of The Claremont Colleges.

The survey is intended for completion by directors of pharmacy at U.S. hospitals and will be facilitated by Qualtrics. An email containing the link to the survey was sent to most directors on Sept 24th. If you are a hospital pharmacy director and did not receive Dr. Simonian's email and wish to participate in the survey, please inquire here. If you are a pharmacy director responsible for more than one hospital, please provide name and email contact information of the individual hospital directors for completion of this survey here.

We are hopeful and grateful for your participation.

Together for IV Accuracy,

The THRIV Coalition
Because we all want just what the doctor ordered.
